Day-to-Day

Contact an RN for any camper or counselor who needs an assessment/triage

Assume responsibility for the review of medical records, preparation and administration of daily mediations to the assigned unit

Ensure medications and treatments are administered safely and in compliance with agency policy and procedure and that documentation of the same is completed. In the event that a medication or prescription is missing or runs out, the unit nurse will be responsible for obtaining the replacement as soon as possible in order to ensure continuity of care.

Make phone calls to families and or guardians prior to each session, to perform a screening for recent health and medication changes. Seek out instructions from families for specifics about care and medication admin...
