Summary The LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the outpatient Specialty Care team, aligned within Chief of Staff service. Responsibilities The Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based outpatient care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting. Duties Include, but are not limited to: Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of patient care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care.
