Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ortho/Spine/ Bariatrics Unit ! Full Time day shift position in Suffolk, VA!
Hours:7p-7a with rotating weekends.
Sign on bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates.
About the Unit:
1 East Surgery Unit is a 24-bed unit specializing in orthopedics, spine, and bariatrics, designed to provide high-quality, short-stay care. The team also sees high acuity surgical patients from Endoscopy, General surgery and GI. Average patient stay is 1 to 2 days. The RN staff can expect a 1:5 or 1:6 ratio and can expect an average of 6 to 8 patient discharges per shift. It is a well-staffed, fast-paced environment that values ongoing staff development through a comprehensive orientation program, where managers and educators meet biweekly to refine learning strategies and enhance...
