The Resource Pool/Float Registered Nurse plays a vital role in ensuring Veterans receive safe, compassionate, and effective care wherever clinical support is needed most. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple patient care areas, gaining broad clinical experience while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of Veterans. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to Veterans across multiple inpatient and outpatient clinical settings within the Resource Pool.
• Assess patient health needs, develop individualized plans of care, and evaluate outcomes using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care throughout the continuum of treatment, emphasizing patient education, self-management, and health promotion.
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures in accordance with established standards, policies, and guidelines.
