Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis (Calgary)

Overview

The Registered Nurse – Renal Dialysis practice within the philosophy and guidelines of the Alberta Kidney Care – South and works as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team collaborating on the delivery of holistic and comprehensive care, to meet the needs of individuals, families and/or communities. This position may involve lifting and movements requiring fine motor skills (e.g. hand dexterity).

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations while ensuring their safety and well‑being.
• Utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem‑solving and decision‑making and teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
