Registered Nurse - Quality Management Consultant - Risk Manager

Summary The Quality Management (QM) Consultant Risk Management Registered Nurse (RN) practices within the Quality and Patient Safety Service Line and functions as a clinical expert and executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex patient care. The QM Consultant performs duties directly contributing to high quality and safe patient care within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Incorporates performance improvement activities within the overall program to reduce and minimize risks within the medical center through such activities as clinical monitoring of high risk activities (i.e., code blue, restraints, moderate sedation, airway management, invasive procedures, etc.).
