Role

The RN plays a pivotal role in enriching the lives of residents by supporting the LTC Home in the administration of medications, treatments, and assessments. This role actively participates in all multidisciplinary meetings to ensure excellence in resident care and continuous improvement in nursing practices. The RN plays a key role in enhancing the effective management and quality of nursing practice in alignment with the following standards:

• College of Nurses of Ontario Standards
• Long-Term Care Standards
• Southbridge Care Homes Standards
