Registered Nurse - Palliative Care at Home - Full Time - North Central Wayne County

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Works under the supervision of the hospice and/or palliative care at home manager. Provides nursing care to palliative care at home patients in accordance with the hospice and palliative care at home concept of care. Assumes managerial responsibilities in the absence of the hospice and/or palliative care at home manager.

NO WEEKENDS, NO ON-CALL, NO HOLIDAYS

Shift: 8:30AM- 5PM

Location: North central Wayne County

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

+ Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, and current Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse.

+ Hospice and/or palliative care at home certification preferred.

+ A working knowledge of current pain and symptom management, and experience appropriate to the needs of hospice and palliative care at home patients and their families is preferred.
