Registered Nurse - PACU - Weekend Plan Part Time Day

**Schedule**

Part Time: 24 Hours/Bi-weekly

Hours: Day Shift; 12-Hour Shifts Saturday and Sunday Every Other Weekend

Holidays required when the Holiday falls within the Weekend Schedule

**Department Summary**

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) has a total of 18 recovery bays for recovering phase one general post-surgical patients and an isolation room and ECT minor procedure room.

**General Summary**

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
