Registered Nurse (Oncology)

Summary The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Registered Nurses. The Registered Nurses will function in the Oncology/Infusion Clinic within Ambulatory Care Service. Responsibilities Duties of the Registered Nurse (Oncology) include but are not limited to: Provides comprehensive nursing care to Veterans receiving infusion therapies, including biologic agents, blood products, IV medications, hydration, and other outpatient infusion treatments in accordance with provider orders, policies, and evidence-based practice. Performs patient assessment, venous access management, medication administration, and continuous monitoring for adverse reactions or changes in condition, initiating appropriate interventions and emergency response measures when indicated.
