Job Description

Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, Heart Cath Lab, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assisting the Interventional Cardiologist with various cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiograms; PTCA/CAS; RHC/LHC, shunt calculations and aortic and mitral valve insertions; rotoblation, intraaortic balloon pump insertion, use of intravascular ultrasound, and temporary pacemaker implantation.

Experience
A minimum two (2) years’ recent nursing experience required.
Prior experience in ICU or a minimum of three (3) years in Adult Emergency Room is Required. Successful completion of the Critical Care Nursing Orientation Program (CCNOP) theory and lab skills will be required if no applicants have the required ICU or Adult Emergency Room experience...
