Rosters designed for work-life balance: Casual shifts available across an 8-day fortnight roster | 8am - 6pm or 9am - 7pm shifts | Casual ongoing positions.
Comprehensive prison & job training: You'll do a two-day prison induction with a certified correctional trainer, followed by shadowing our experienced nurses on the job
Competitive rates: $56.25 per hour (Weekdays), $84.38 per hour (Saturdays), $98.44 per hour (Sundays), $112.50 per hour (Public Holidays).
The role & team
Join us as a Casual Registered Nurse in our nurse-led clinic at Mount Gambier Prison, reporting to our Management Team. You'll work within a supportive team of nine Nurses, our Medical Administration Officer and our part-time GP. We're looking for someone with great observational skills and the confidence to do systematic clinical assessments on prisoners. In the role you will:
