Registered Nurse (Mental Health Services- Aftercare Program and Injection Clinic)

OVERVIEW

The Registered Nurse, Aftercare Program & Injection Clinic, is responsible for providing excellent client care within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Responsibilities include: providing comprehensive assessment and treatment; planning; administering depot medication; case coordination, educational and supportive counselling; resource identification; referral and linkage to community resources and; collaborating and consulting with the inter-professional team and community-based resource providers. The RN will also lead educational and psychosocial group therapy sessions and participate in the planning, development and implementation of group programming.

EDUCATION

- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BScN); Masters in Nursing (MScN) preferred (or post-graduate experience with a mental health focus an asset)

- Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration issued by the College of Nurses of Ontario
