The Registered Nurse- RCC-Extended Recovery Care is responsible for post-surgical recovery care of patients admitted into our 72-hour recovery care six bed suite. The RCC-Extended Recovery Care nurse is responsible for professional nursing care of post-surgical or endoscopic patients to achieve total patient centered care through use of the nursing process. Unlike a typical hospital setting, our facility offers the unique opportunity to walk alongside patients while they recover in our newly opened state-of-the-art recovery care center.

- Reports to the ASC-RCC Nurse Manager-Operative Services- Peoria
- Admission - Greet patient and instruct in changing into appropriate attire for overnight care when indicated. Complete admission process, nurse to nurse hand-off, document on appropriate EHR and administer post-op orders (i.e. medication...
