Job Summary

Functioning interdependently with members of the multidisciplinary team, assesses the needs of adult and pediatric patients requiring care in the Emergency Department. Contributes to ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nursing Ontario
• BCLS, ACLS & PALS Certification required
• Minimum of one‑year current nursing experience, including Blood and Blood Products Administration, Urinary and Gastric Catheter Insertion, Glucose Point‑of‑Care Testing, Management of Patients with Intravenous Therapy
• Minimum one‑year experience in an Emergency/Critical Care setting and competency in Venipuncture to initiate IV...
