Registered Midwife

Highland Community Midwives are looking for a registered midwife for a temporary one year position, with strong potential to extend.

We are located in beautiful Antigonish, Nova Scotia and have our hospital births at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. We practice out of a newly renovated clinic in the community. We provide care to clients throughout Antigonish and Guysborough counties, and many communities on Cape Breton Island. We have satellite clinics in various locations in our catchment area and serve a diverse rural population, aiming to keep care close to home for our clients.

Antigonish, the “Highland Heart of Nova Scotia”, is a small university town, close to many beautiful parks and beaches- close enough that you can enjoy them even while on call! There is a strong sense of community in the town and county, with a busy farmers market, vibrant art & music scene and plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the year....
