Registered Dietitian

Overview

The Registered Dietitian is an integral part of the inter professional team and provides collaborative, comprehensive and person-centered care, and education conducive to behavior change and improved quality of life across the lifespan. The Registered Dietitian will deliver comprehensive nutritional therapy and education to clients for the management of cardiometabolic and bariatric care. The RD provides consultation and independently screens patients for nutritional intervention, collects and interprets patient health data for in-depth assessment, completes ongoing monitoring and reassessment in collaboration with patients, caregivers, and the health care team. The successful candidate promotes self-management to achieve individualized behavioral andtreatment goals that reduce risks and optimize health outcomes.
