Responsibilities include providing group and location management with guidance and support regarding the effective administration of safety and health programs; driving management efforts to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, reducing vehicle accidents and compliance with OSHA standards; driving efforts to obtain and maintain recognition under the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program; serving as a corporate safety team resource for the group executive; developing and maintaining safety and health compliance programs, training materials; educating assigned locations on safety and health policies, procedures and best practices; conducting and reviewing inspections of assigned facilities to identify potential OSHA compliance issues; coordinating and reviewing inspections performed by other safety team partners; monitoring and holding group/location ma...
