Job Description

Our Health, Safety & Environment group is currently growing and is looking to add a Regional Health and Safety Supervisor to the team, based in Vaughan, ON.
Reporting to the Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental Director/Manager, the Regional Health and Safety Supervisor provides advice and support to management teams, direct reports, and supervisors, within the assigned geographical area.
Duties and Responsibilities
Define, communicate, and enforce the roles and accountabilities of Safety Supervisors and Advisors
Ensure compliance with Valard HS&E policies, applicable legislation, client requirements, and industry standards
Maintain current knowledge of legislative changes and communicate impacts to project and corporate leadership
Ensure Site Safety Management Plans (SMPs) are established, implemented, and maintained for all projects
