HGV Refuse Driver / Waste Collection Driver (Class 2)

Location: Stalybridge, Tameside SK15
Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 3:45pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Sure Start Staff are currently recruiting experienced HGV Refuse Drivers / Waste Collection Drivers on behalf of a local authority client within the Environmental Services sector.

This role is ideal for reliable Class 2 drivers who are comfortable working as part of a waste collection team and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

The Role

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will safely operate refuse collection vehicles and support the collection, transportation, and disposal of household and commercial waste across designated routes.

You may also be required to assist the loading team when necessary.
