Reference Assistant (Part-Time Temporary)

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Dean of Libraries, Learning Support, and Employee Development. The Reference Assistant (LAPP2) is a part-time, cyclical classified position. This position contributes to student-centered library services to a diverse campus community. As a member of a collaborative team providing student-centered library services, this position works under the general direction of library faculty assisting students, faculty, and staff at the library reference desk. This is a pre-professional position designed for currently enrolled students seeking an MLIS. The RA works with librarians to provide research help and answers to common questions as the research help desk.
