Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) is a Survivor-led Aboriginal community-controlled organisation dedicated to supporting Survivors of the Kinchela Boys Home, their families and descendants. KBHAC delivers culturally responsive programs focused on healing, identity restoration, wellbeing and community connection.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Redress Support Worker to join our team. Key duties will include:

• Supporting clients through their engagement with the National Redress Scheme
• Providing intake, assessment and case management services
• Assisting referrals to Trauma Specialist Counsellors and support services
• Building relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholder organisations
• Liaising with government and non-government agencies
• Supporting awareness and education initiatives regarding Stolen Generations...
