Recreationist (Summer Staff)

Employment: Temporary, Casual, Summer Staff. Salary: $25.93 per hour, plus 13.75% Pay in Lieu of Benefits and 4% Vacation Pay. Location: Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, ON. Union: UNIFOR.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Manager of Recreation and Physiotherapy, the Recreationist works as a member of the care team to promote the highest possible level of physical, social and mental functioning of residents at Strathmere Lodge. We are hiring one Recreationist for a temporary, casual, summer position starting July 1, 2026 and ending October 31, 2026. Hours may vary from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Successful candidates must be available weekdays, weekends, statutory holidays, and on short‑notice call‑in shifts.
