Recovery Worker - Substance Misuse

Responsibilities

Day Webster is recruiting for an experienced Band 5 Recovery Worker to work within a structured drug and alcohol treatment system working with those prescribed OST, alongside other prescribed interventions.

You will offer PSI interventions and be well versed in harm reduction principles to reduce drug and alcohol related harm and have experience working with a case load of about 30 to 40.

The role is a minimum 3‑month contract with the potential to extend. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for suitable alternatives.

Requirements

1. Experience managing a case load
2. Valid Driver's licence
3. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
4. Enhanced DBS check
