Receiving Clerk - Part Time Position

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Counts and checks merchandise against freight bill. Opens boxes and cartons with box knife to verify product and counts. Signs freight bill as the second receiver.

• Stacks bed-loaded merchandise or merchandise from damaged or unacceptable pallets onto Costco-approved pallets. Separates mixed item pallets for checking.

• Keys received goods into computer using radio frequency computer gun. Uses gun to order the printing of pallet tags and UPC stickers.

• Scans product with radio frequency gun to verify UPC and item. Notifies Receiving Manager of any mis-marked, damaged, or mis-shipped items. Re-labels bad UPC product.

• Wraps pallets of double-received goods with plastic wrap for transport to the floor or steel by Forklift...
