Receiving Chemist I

Summary
The Receiving Chemist I is responsible for receiving, sampling, coding, consolidating, and shipping hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in accordance with company, state, federal, and environmental regulations. This role supports facility operations through waste analysis, inventory management, chemical handling, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

+ Receive, open, sample, and analyze incoming drums and lab packs in accordance with facility Waste Analysis Plans (WAP) and company procedures
+ Code and process incoming waste materials for disposal, transportation, and billing purposes using WIN system and barcode tracking
+ Perform chemical consolidation, repacking, and bulking activities while maintaining proper safety procedures
