Reading Interventionist - Elementary

POSITION TITLE: ELEMENTARY INTERVENTIONIST  REPORTS TO: BUILDING PRINCIPAL

OVERTIME STATUS: EXEMPT PAY GRADE: 710

JOB SUMMARY:
The Title I Intervention Specialist performs complex professional work that includes planning,
coordinating, organizing and analyzing assessment data to provide real time push-in and pull-out research-based interventions in the core curricular areas for identified students in a Title I school. Assessment data to be used to identify students should include PALS, SOL, benchmark, diagnostic and all other available school and district data. Work is performed under the general supervision of the building principal, with oversight of job expectations by the Program Specialist and the Coordinator of English and Reading Education.
