POSITION SUMMARY: 
The position is primarily responsible for supporting forging and auxiliary operations in the Advanced Product Development Forge Shop. Responsibilities include working on die set-ups, billet spotting, fork truck and manipulator operation, press operation and other duties related to forging operations on the press. Duties will also include operating furnaces, performing heat treatment operations, band-saw and abrasive saw operations and general housekeeping. While these are the principal responsibilities of the position, the incumbent is expected to have the necessary skills and aptitude to also cross-train in other laboratory functions such as metallography and mechanical testing...
