R&D Laboratory Technician

**Kelly** is currently seeking an experienced **R&D Laboratory Technician** in the **Florence, KY** area! This position is responsible for supporting the growth of Engineered Solutions and other businesses through application development, technical service, and testing on existing and new products. A significant component of this role is the preparation and evaluation of acrylic materials. This position will be working on multiple projects at a time and interacting with all scientists/engineers in the group.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Sample preparation: Select relevant samples and prepare samples for thermomechanical testing.
+ Samples are prepared via table saw, bandsaw, router, drum and hand sanders, etc.
+ Follow established procedures to perform mechanical tests including tensile and flexural strength, Charpy and Izod impact, weathering, heat distortion, hardness, swell ratio, etc.
