Raisebore/Driller 3

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating raisebore and longhole drills and all associated equipment.
• Assist in moving, set-up, teardown, and placement of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.
• Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.

Requirements

• Minimum grade twelve education or equivalent.
• Previous work as a driller's helper in a mining environment.
• Minimum of two years underground work experience.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
• Rotating day shift/night shift schedule.
• Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with raisebore or longhole drills.
• Experience in longhole drilling and blasting.
• Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).
