Job Description
Performs diagnostic CT procedures within the CT Department utilizing specific equipment for that purpose. Rotates through diagnostic radiology as assigned. Involved in the practice of radiation and general safety at all times. Performs the duties and responsibilities within the scope of a Computed Tomography Technologist - Level I, as defined within the job description.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1.Radiography certification withthe American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
2. Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:
MD: Radiographer license through the Maryland Board of Physicians.
OH: Radiographer license through the Ohio Board of Radiology
PA: No state license is required
