Radiation Therapist

• Accurately deliver the planned course of radiation therapy while correctly operating the treatment units with minimal supervision.


• Maintain visual and audible communication with patients during treatment.


• Perform daily linac and CT QA as well as monthly CT QA.


• Accurately perform IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging.


• CT/Simulate patients for radiation therapy following department and site-specific protocols.


• Properly construct immobilization devices as needed.


• Use IV contrast for simulation when needed and perform respiratory gating and ACQ sim.
