Quantity Surveyor

We’re currently supporting a client who is looking to appoint a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing projects across Southampton.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS who enjoys working on fast-paced interior fit-out schemes and wants flexibility alongside a steady pipeline of work.
The role:
* Managing cost control across multiple fit-out projects in Southmapton
* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation and management
* Valuations, variations and final accounts
* Supporting project teams to ensure commercial success
* Working across office, retail and commercial interior schemes
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit-out/refurbishment
* Strong understanding of commercial interiors projects
* Confident managing subcontract packages and variations
* Ability to work independently in a freelance/contract capacity
* Available to cover ongoing Southampton-based projects
