Quality Technician

Job overview

Reporting to Sunswap’s Head of Quality, the Quality Technician provides additional quality support to the existing Quality Team by carrying out visual inspection and measurement of incoming parts, as well as leading collaborative cross‑functional problem‑solving sessions that threaten to stop the production line.

This is an interesting and varied role that relies on successful close‑working with the operations and engineering teams, in a dynamic and fast‑paced manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Visually inspect and measure incoming parts against the design specifications.
• Quarantine nonconforming parts and communicate effectively.
• Triage production line defects, raise problem reports, and drive resulting actions to resolution.
• Support the production line and engineering teams by conducting visual inspection and measurement of parts / assemblies etc. as requested.
