Quality Inspector

Position Summary:
Responsible for performing physical and document inspections on all inbound and outbound material to assure they are correct and complete prior to use or sale.

 
Responsibilities:

+ Use of measuring instruments, gauges, optical, fixtures for sample testing

+ Affix appropriate approval or rejection tags to materials and/or documents

+ Communicate to production supervisor any problems encountered during shift

+ Complete all necessary quality documentation and certificates

+ Maintain the quality database

+ Generate customer material certifications

+ Coordinate with production operators any/all inspection requirements

+ Conduct all tests or checks required

+ Catalog and maintenance of all gauges used in production

 

Education and Experience:
+ + High School or Equivalency Diploma
