Quality Engineer

Summary:Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality across all phases of the product lifecycle, from prototype and launch through SOP and engineering changes.The role ensures compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, and applicable automotive industry standards.The Quality Engineer has authority to stop production or shipments when there is a risk of nonconforming material reaching the customer.Key Responsibilities and Main Activities:Tooling and Equipment ReleaseRelease all tooling and production equipment across the entire manufacturing line, from pre-assemblies to post-operations equipment.This applies to prototype builds, new product launches, and engineering changes.PPAP CoordinationCoordinate the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), compile complete PPAP documentation packages, and submit them to customers in accordance with agreed timelines.PSW and IMDS Approval ManagementRequest, track, and follow up on PSW and IMDS approval...
