Testing cum Quality Engineer Job Role (Control Panel Automation Industry) A Testing cum Quality Engineer in a control panel automation company is responsible for ensuring that electrical control panels are manufactured, wired, tested, and delivered as per customer specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct electrical and functional testing of control panels before dispatch. Verify wiring connections as per GA drawings, schematic diagrams, and BOM. Perform routine tests such as: Continuity Test Insulation Resistance (IR) Test High Voltage (HV) Test Power ON / Functional Testing Ensure panel components are installed as per approved drawings and standards. Check quality of panel assembly, wiring dressing, ferruling, and labeling. Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with production/design teams for corrections.
