QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Key Responsibilities Oversee all quality control and assurance activities across shipbuilding, repair, or offshore projects Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO and marine classification standards Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, client specifications, and industry standards (e.g., class societies, flag state requirements) Lead inspections, audits, and testing of materials, processes, and completed works Manage and coordinate third-party inspections and certifications Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures Investigate non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Monitor project quality performance and prepare detailed reports for management and clients Liaise with production, engineering, and project teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout project lifecycle Train and mentor QC inspectors and promote a strong quality cu...
