Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Engineer maintains and upholds the Company Quality Standards and Policies; Communicates and interfaces frequently with customers and occasionally with suppliers relating to quality matters; Leads internal scrap reduction activities; Implements, maintains, and documents the Gauge Control System; Provides quality-related training, support, and guidance to other departments as necessary; and Promotes a positive attitude toward teamwork, safety, and quality service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Responsible for knowing and following Company policies as directed by Employee Handbook and the Safety Rules, Regulations, Quality Manual.
2.Supports the development and maintenance of the Quality System.
3.Primary customer contact for quality related issues, including customer claims.
