The post holder will provide clinical, governance, and pharmacotherapy expertise to the Stop Smoking Service within the One You Kent service. The role will support the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality smoking cessation interventions through robust clinical governance, quality assurance, and oversight of pharmacotherapy pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead and undertake monthly service-wide clinical audits, including oversight of auditor activity and “audit the auditor” processes, and complete regular service observations across all Stop Smoking Advisors to assure quality, consistency, and adherence to agreed standards.
• Provide pharmacist oversight and internal clinical sign-off for Patient Group Directions (PGDs) where appropriate, ensuring they remain safe, current, and fit for purpose.
