MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and optimize processes surrounding supplier quality management;
• Approve First Article Inspection (FAI) from suppliers (AS9102);
• Manage FAI deviations and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions;
• Analyze and validate dimensional, functional, and documentary reports;
• Lead DFM (Design For Manufacturability) activities between core engineering and suppliers;
• Validate the manufacturability of drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and special requirements;
• Conduct supplier audits;
• Approve and maintain the qualification of special processes;
• Evaluate the manufacturing capability of suppliers;
• Review supplier change requests and coordinate with engineering and purchasing to assess impacts;
• Participate in design reviews (NPI, ECO, revision changes);
• Identify technical risks and propose solutions upstream;
