Quality Assurance Engineer (Durham)

MUST HAVES:

• 5+ years minimum
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• Experience testing the backend and backend systems that have transactions and values, not UI testing (not doing web testing)
• Need to be both automation and manual testing both (emphasis on manual) (Comfortable with 70% manual and 30% automation testing)
• Exposure to some automation tools for example: like selenium, cypress, playwright
• Value testing experience
• RTM
• Knows and can explain the Defect lifecycle
• Experience writing test cases

PLUS:

• Comes from insurance or banking
• Understanding of annuity abbreviations like: RILA, FIA, MYGA
• SQL understanding
• Policy admin tools, CCM tools
