Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Quality and Safety, the Patient Safety and Quality Leader is responsible for providing guidance, support and subject matter expertise in patient safety culture by reducing and preventing events that contribute tounintended adverse patient outcomes. This individual facilitates, mentors and steers hospital teams to build on and improve practices focused on the delivery of high quality, highly reliable patient care that is aligned with the organization’s vision andstrategic goals. The individual will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization to improve the health experience of our patients by contributing to the engineering of safe systems, ensuring that patients receive the safest care, and reducingorganizational risk. The ideal candidate will support the identification and prioritization of quality improvement opportunities to develop controls and evaluation plans to assure sustained results.
