Qualified / Unqualified Teacher Assistant

Milk Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to work in one of our partner primary schools in Morpeth.

You will need to be flexible, energetic and enthusiastic about working with children who have complex needs and/or autism. If you are up for a challenge and really want to help make a difference in children’s lives, then Milk might have the role for you!

Role 1: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8.30 – 3.30, Term Time Only

Role 2: Part Time, Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 12.00, Term Time Only

Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in their academic and personal development
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) and adapting materials to meet students’ needs
• Provide students with one-on-one or small group support in and out of the classroom
