QHSE Officer

QHSE Officer £32,000 – £35,000 experience dependent

Key in providing a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all applicable Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety legislations . This role is an ideal step-up role for a previous QHSE Advisor or similar.

The role will also involve assisting the factory and farm teams and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining, and improving the health, safety & environmental standards. You will champion HSE and food safety/quality/legality initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Health and Safety and Environmental processes, risk assessments and systems and ensure that they are operated correctly.
• Lead with External H&S and Environmental Agencies and assist with retail customers and QMS audits.
