QC Technician - Warehouse

About company/role:

• Pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne
• Seeking a QC Technician to join the Raw Materials Sampling team
• Working within a warehouse environment
• 6-month casual contract, potential to be ongoing
• Fulltime hours, normal business hours

Reporting to the QC Team Leader, duties include:

• Receipt of incoming goods
• Aseptic sampling of raw materials
• Use of tools to ensure correct sampling
• Manual handling, lifting upto 25kg and use of electronic pallet jack
• Check delivery dockets and labels to ensure correct batch numbers, expiry dates and quantity
• Release of raw materials in warehouse
• Follow GMP standards and correct SOPs
• General housekeeping
