Job Description
Utilizes documented methods to test raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against established specifications. Communicates findings of non-conforming materials or products to appropriate business partners. Applies sound judgment in interpreting test observations and resulting data. Accurately, clearly, and promptly records and reports results in accordance with specified guidelines and standard operating procedures. Recommends corrective actions as needed. Calibrates measuring equipment according to schedule and maintains laboratory equipment, glassware, and workspaces in a clean, organized, and functional condition. Participates in root cause investigations and assists in adjusting out-of-specification batches. Adheres to all safety, health, and environmental standards and properly disposes of laboratory waste.
