Python Engineer

Job Summary:
As a Senior Quant Developer, you will design, build, and maintain the core Python infrastructure that powers quantitative research, backtesting, and production trading systems. You will work closely with quantitative researchers to translate models into efficient, production-ready code and will be responsible for driving projects end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement modular, object-oriented Python frameworks for backtesting and signal research.
• Develop portfolio analytics tools, including Sharpe/Sortino ratios, drawdowns, risk attribution, and factor exposures.
• Optimize numerical performance using libraries such as NumPy, pandas, SciPy, Numba, and vectorization techniques.
• Collaborate with quants to integrate models into research and production systems.
• Write clean, testable, and reusable code following best practices in software engineering.
