Python Engineer

Location: Montreal, Quebec / Halifax NS (Hybrid – 4 days/week)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python to streamline business processes.
• Build and optimize automation frameworks for web, API, data, and system workflows.
• Integrate automation solutions with databases, third‑party tools, and cloud services.
• Identify manual, repetitive tasks and propose efficient automation solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented Python code following best practices.
• Debug, test, and enhance automation scripts for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Python Automation Engineer.
• Strong SQL or other database query language scripting skills.
• Unix/Linux scripting knowledge.
• Exposure to Helios or OCP platforms.
