Purchasing Supervisor

Position OverviewEnsure that orders are issued to suppliers and that order material planning is successful, ensuring efficient use of capacity.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee raw material purchase order process (issuance, tracking, approval) to maintain optimal inventory levels.Follow up on planned requirements of raw materials with buyers, ensuring they are sent and confirmed by suppliers.Follow up on critical materials and manage an appropriate escalation process within the organization.Coordinate with carriers to track materials arrivals until manufacturing site.Manage supplier relationships, negotiating on shortages and improvements.Coordinate with planning and work on extended planning forecast.Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing plants.Experience evaluating supplier delivery performance.Experience preparing inventory and shortage reports.Knowledge of the complete purchasing cycle.Proficiency in SAPMM modules required.Intermedia...
